Graham Colley Chair Lib Dem Lawyers
Graham Colley is a solicitor practicing on his own account in Rochester, Kent specialising in Wills and Inheritance. He has a dual professional qualification as an Independent Financial Adviser.
Graham was born in Nottingham and attended Nottingham High School.
He first joined the Liberals at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He also attended College of Europe, Bruges and has an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from Cass (City University) Business School. He is currently undertaking part-time postgraduate studies at Kent Law School
He was Treasurer of Southwark and Bermondsey before and during Simon Hughes famous by election.
He managed a Legal Aid practice with offices in Westminster Kennington and Chatham for 17 years.
He was a Liberal Alliance/Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate in the 1987 and 1992 General Elections. He was a Kent County Councillor between 1989 and1998 during which time he was a Co-Chair of Fire and Public Protection.
He is currently also chair of the Charity Southwark Mediation Centre and a voluntary committee member of Keniston Housing Association and the Kent Law Clinic.
He was Treasurer of LibDem Lawyers 2010-12 and previously was membership secretary.
